SKA – Shashi Karkhanis and Associates is our design cell founded by Mr Shashi Karkhanis over 4 decades ago. Under his vast experience and able guidance along with Mr. Sundeep Karkhanis who heads the design cell, the studio is a hub of creativity, innovation and extensive research to produce designs, concepts and detailed drawings for our varied projects.

Highly reputed Mumbai school - Arya Vidya Mandir, gave us the charter to upgrade their facilities at 4 campuses. Taking into account the very young user group, we effectively enhanced their learning by introducing graphics as wall treatments, inspired by the curriculum itself. The School environment is now one that promotes curiosity and a deeper engagement with these young minds.
Most residence interiors we have rendered are between 1500 -10,000 sq ft. Each client comes with a very personal vision of their dream home and we follow through with great investment of time and effort to optimize the utilization of space, to offer a fresh palette of materials and ideas, to execute great finishes and to satisfy the needs that make each homeowner a happy one!
The Gandhi Peace Centre was a project of renovation and re-imagining. Located in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, it is now in a modern avatar. Architect Sundeep retained the local stone exterior but has worked within the existing building in great detail to present a highly interactive digital museum. Introducing light, water and sculptures to create a contemplative experience was his master stroke, in a museum that highlights the violence of the past and present.
