SYNOPSIS :

This large floor plate apartment overlooks a garden and pool. The brief was to create a modern classical style interior with a warm and sophisticated feel. The material palette is beige, dark veneer, brown fabric, gold and white.We redesigned the entire layout, merged a bedroom into the living area and made it a TV room. The living room has a Sicis mosaic as a feature wall and a hand carved solid wood centre table with a leather foiling rug. Satish Gujral paintings adorn the sofa wall and a huge glass divider cabinet holds the Lladro and Swaroski collection of the clients. The Tv room had wall to wall splayed storages with laser cut shutters. The coffee table also has the same laser cut design and creates interesting shadow effects. 2 bedrooms and 2 washrooms were combined to make a large master suite. The master bedroom and walk-in area with huge sliding wardrobes are separated by a glass screen. The master bedroom has a unique design style with carved headboard and legs and a study near the window overlooking the garden. Mica mother of pearl wall paper adds to the opulence of the room. The washrooms are clad in onyx and metallic mosaics and have a chandelier in the dry area.
