PROJECT NAME :

AREA :

1850 sq ft Built up area.

YEAR OF COMPLETION :

2011

SYNOPSIS :

This apartment had a predominantly neutral palate of beige, brown, champagne except for the guest room which was white, silver and black. You are welcomed by a large champagne and scooped wood panel with a Buddha Statue. The entrance lobby was carved out to accommodate a seating area backed by large bevelled mirrors and built-in shoe rack and console. A large transparent glass separates this space from the dining and living area. The living area has sofas flanked by a suspended running seat along the window. The Tv wall unit has a built-in mandir with laser-cut motifs. The master bedroom is a play of mother of pearl wallpaper, mica stone and off-white high gloss furniture. The master toilet again has a curved mother of pearl accent wall combined with white high gloss and rough stone walls. The kids’ bedroom is designed as an informal room meant for “playdates” with circular multi-sized light boxes dropped from the ceiling, step bed and wall to wall mirror. It has abstract wall art and text print rustic wooden floor. The Guest bedroom has a huge white leather chesterfield headboard combined with black back-painted glass panels and silver grey wall paper. The wardrobes have an etched glass backlit side panel which creates an element of interest when you enter the room. The washroom is clad in crystal onyx. The linear kitchen is a combination of beige quartz and off white back painted glass shutters. The common washroom is treated with rough cut wooden tiles and multiple strips of mirror laid out to create an abstract pattern.
