Perched on the 21st Floor, this large 3-bedroom sea facing apartment was designed to open out to sprawling sea views and let in natural light. The living and dining areas are an opulent large common space for a family of 6. The material palette comprised of Belgium Black marble, teak wood, smoked oak veneer, back-painted glass and champagne leafing. In the living area a vertical garden was introduced to bring the outdoors inside, high gloss black lamination with gold leafing, white onyx with mother of pearl inlay along with bevelled mirrors are used to add a sense of high-end luxury and sophistication. The bespoke dining table with rose gold base, centre table with grooved gold leafing and ottoman with carved legs are statement pieces.
Each bedroom had a colour palette based on the couple occupying the space. We have used white, suede fabric and textured wall paper for the parents bedroom. The elder sons bedroom comprised of blue, mocha and teakwood fins wrapped around the window to frame the sea view. The younger sons’ bedroom had a tiered dramatic ceiling, library unit fabricated in metal and fenestrated headboard with custom hanging lights.
